August 2009 Heya internets peeps - this month i've been producing and recording an album for a very special man... yes, hiphop shoegazer vagabond Subsketch has been hauled up in my house recording and drinking tea. If you could imagine if Smog was a HipHop artist and this is the music that's peeling off the walls... i might even do a bit of vocalising myself! i've also been getting into some very nerdy but smokin' hiphop courtesy of Ronald Jenkees... some Swedish Gypsy Jazz HipHop from Movits!... and Sarah Blasko's new album is rockin' my world!
June / July 2009 Hey all - been a busy month and a little being away from ze homeland. Lots of fun and frivolity, catching up with old friends and making some cool new ones. Enjoy! May 2009 Holy crap! half of May is over already... haha! It was a busy month and it's only half over. luckily i've finished a wad of work and have been getting addicted (again) to an awesome boardgame called Settlers Of Catan. I also finished mixing The Snowman documentary down in Tasmania with the awesome Mike Gissing and the Pony Films people. Had a great time down there! The other documentary i finished called Connected by Light has also recently put their site up here: www.connectedbylight.com
April 2009 I've decided to go off galavanting in Europe in June... I'm going to Annecy Animation Film Festival to see The Cat Piano in competition! I'm also in production mode for the 2 documentaries i'm doing right now so i'm happily strapped into my computer composing...
March 2009 - Part 2 It just keeps getting better for The Cat Piano. the film has just been accepted into offical competition in the 2009 Annecy International Animated Film Festival (the holy grail for animation) and if it wins it can then go on to a nomination in the Academy Awards. Swish... The other news is that i have turned my hand to acting! I 'starred' as disturbed and deranged army officer Keith Simon in a short mockumentary directed by Richard Vilensky about the making of the latest Australian Army recuitment TVC.

March 2009 Ok hipcats - The Cat Piano just won the Best Short Film Audience Award at the 2009 Adelaide Film Festival! yeehah! I'm also starting some work with the wonderful people at Plexus Films on a documentary about world reknown multimedia artist Lynette Wallworth called Connected By Light. Later this month I'll also be working with director Juliet Lamont and the Pony Films people on her new feature documentary The Snowman. February 2009 Lovers - how you going? - I'm in the finals of the APRA PDA Award in the Film & TV Category which is exciting! As i've just finished Cat Piano! i'm also going to the world premiere at the Adelaide Film Festival and also home to see the family...
January 2009 Hey all - I'm in the midst of composing for the movie The Cat Piano and i've just finished my Masters degree at AFTRS composing for Street Angel and Vafadar. i'm just getting this website constructed now too... please let me know if anything is buggy. Peace and Love from Mister Speed.
